Authors of papers presented at this conference and within the scope of MDPI AI may submit a technically extended version to the Special Issue of AI - "Artificial Intelligence Beyond Prediction: Human-Centered, Explainable and Adaptive Systems for Real World Applications".
This Special Issue will highlight recent advances in artificial intelligence that extend beyond traditional uses and approaches, emphasizing emerging applications and intelligent systems capable of reasoning, adapting, interacting, and supporting human decision-making in real-world scenarios. Particular attention is paid to AI solutions that combine high performance with transparency, robustness, human-centered design, and practical applicability, addressing varied topics that includes, but is not limited to, machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, foundation models, multimodal AI, explainable and interpretable AI, trustworthy AI, adaptive and personalized intelligent systems, human–AI collaboration, intelligent sensing, computer vision, natural language processing, robotics, autonomous systems, edge AI, federated learning, reinforcement learning, digital twins, and decision support systems.
