As every year, several awards will be presented to recognize participants who have distinguished themselves during the conference. The complete list of the awards is provided below.

To ensure a fully impartial award selection process, all individuals involved in the organization of the conference, including the Chairs and members of the Scientific Committee, will be excluded from award eligibility.

This award recognizes the most outstanding paper presented at IEEE MetroXRAINE 2026.

The author and co-authors (if any) of the awarded paper will be entitled to:

• A signed and stamped official Award Certificate;
• The announcement of the achievement during the gala dinner’s night and on a dedicated conference webpage.

This award recognizes the best paper presented during the Poster Session of IEEE MetroXRAINE 2026.

The author and co-authors (if any) of the awarded paper will be entitled to:

• A signed and stamped official Award Certificate;
• The announcement of the achievement during the conference closing remarks and on a dedicated conference webpage.

This award recognizes the most outstanding paper presented at IEEE MetroXRAINE 2026 by a Young Researcher (under 35 years in age).

This award is dedicated to the memory of Giuseppe Trautteur, in recognition of his lifelong commitment to educating and inspiring young people.

The author and co-authors (if any) of the awarded paper will be entitled to:

• A signed and stamped official Award Certificate;
• The announcement of the achievement during the gala dinner’s night and on a special conference webpage.

This award recognizes the best demo presented during the Demo Session at IEEE MetroXRAINE 2026.

The presenter(s) of the awarded demo will be entitled to:

• A signed and stamped official Award Certificate;
• The announcement of the achievement during the conference closing remarks and on a dedicated conference webpage.

This award recognizes the Best Graphical Abstract submitted at IEEE MetroXRAINE 2026.

The author and co-authors (if any) of the awarded Graphical Abstract will be entitled to:

• A signed and stamped official Award Certificate;
• • The announcement of the achievement during the gala dinner’s night and on a special conference webpage.

This award recognizes the best paper on the topic of Service Innovation presented at IEEE MetroXRAINE 2026.
