Authors of papers presented at this conference and within the scope of Soft Computing may submit a technically extended version to the Special Issue AI and Knowledge Graphs in Smart Industry and Health Applications.

In an era of unceasing digital transformation, the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Knowledge Graphs (KG) in revolutionizing industries worldwide is indisputable. This special issue aims to explore the leading-edge developments, applications, and future potential of these synergistic technologies in the landscape of smart industry, or Industry 4.0, as well as the integration of AI and optimization techniques, which is still an underexplored field that holds significant potential for various applications.

The advent of AI has redefined the operational capacities of various industries, including manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, energy, and agriculture. Simultaneously, knowledge graphs are emerging as a promising tool to interlink and interpret complex industrial data, fostering intelligent decision-making and automation. This special issue serves as a platform to delve into the extensive applications of AI and KG in smart industries, creating a dialog between academia, industry, and policy-makers, and highlighting the opportunities and challenges involved.
